The space

Our house is built on two levels and is divided into two apartments with an external staircase.

The “Il Silenzio” (first floor) entry concerns the hospitality we provide only on the first floor in order to make its price more affordable for families with fewer members. So the first floor may accommodate 2 adults and 2 young children if you think that the place is comfortable (about 34 sq. M) and appropriate for 4 persons ( there is a sofa in it that becomes a bed for two children).

On the first floor (about 34 sq. M) there is a bedroom, a single space with a kitchen, a sofa bed, a table where you can place your computer and a small bathroom with shower. It has two balconies, one ideal for dining and relaxing with a view of the Libyan Sea and the second and the largest overlooking the mountains and olives of the area. On the second balcony you can rest in a comfortable sofa and two chairs and watch your kids playing in a small air pool (see the picture). You can also cook stakes or fish in the outdoor gaz b.b.q.

The environment

Located on a 10-25 minutes drive from:

– Beautiful sunny beaches of southern Heraklion such as: Komos, Matala, Kokkini Ammos, Afratias, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pirgos, Agia Galini, Pachimadi,etc

-Historical sights such as: The Palace of Phaistos, Gortyn, Agia Triada, Komos, Matala the Museum of Cretan Ethnology in Vori.

-Landmarks such as: The forest of Rouvas, Zaros and Votomos.

-Places where you can have fun and good food such as: Matala, Kalamaki, Kamilari, Agia Galini, Mires, Kokkinos Pyrgos etc.

The feeling of returning after a wonderful day at sea or mountains and the relaxation and tranquility that follows in the courtyard of our house overlooking the Libyan Sea with meze, good company and wine under a sky full of million off stars is incredible.

Il Silenzio – ground floor

Our place

Our house is built on two levels and is divided into two apartments with an external staircase.
The “Il Silenzio” (ground floor) entry concerns the hospitality we provide only on the ground floor in order to make its price more affordable for families with fewer members.
In the ground floor (about 68 sqm) there is a bedroom, a large single room with a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a large bathroom with shower. Outside there is a very large yard (160 sqm) with parking space, dining room, wood oven and barbecue, ideal for eating and relaxing overlooking the South Beach in the day, the sunset the dusk and the millions of stars in the evening.
